Harbor Freight tools thread.

The one I have like that the batteries lasted over a year with on and off use. The longest I had it on at a time was probably 30-45 minutes. They are really decent lights.

 

Was it an empty bucket or was it full of things like the picture?

I needed one of those a few weeks ago!

 

I bought this when I added on my to my patio, it is a little tough to use on R panel but is fantastic on flat cuts! Well worth the money.

 

LOL Just full of air if that counts.

 

So I guess it's $24.99 for an empty bucket and not the sawblades, lights. Sponges, and whatnot?? Bah I guess I'm not bummed anymore.

I saw this one. Those buckets are crap, and they don't include lids.
I miss the free tarps with any purchase. Finally getting around to destroying my last one

Used one of those (Chicago Electric) to cut all the interior aluminum panels when I reskinned my folks Airstream. Those things are priceless when it comes to working with sheet aluminum.
Something else I don't know how I did work without is the portable band saw. Life changed when I purchased those two tools.

While not HF, if you are working with sheet metal that will be riveted on, I HIGHLY recommend getting cleco pins and pliers.

 

ITC members get while the getting is good. I plan to pick up a low profile long reach jack

I have Dewalt tools and I'm a poor bastard. I'm just as proud of my Dewalt tools as you are of your Snapon. My tools stay in my bedroom and I do not loan them out either.

Complete newb here; what makes SnapOn so good? Are they made of completely different materials, customer service, warranty, or what?

Edit: nvm, quick google tells me Harbor Freight and Home Depot lifetime warranties are just as good at 1/10th of the price. Continue.
