Used two coupons, and got some heavy gauge ratcheting wire termination pliers on clearance. All and all spent less than $25

Hey guys, I'm looking to buy a creeper and debating between these two. I was thinking the first one would be better since it's padded but what do you guys think?

Id go with top. Every once in a while you need the adjustable headrest.even if its only once its worth it

I have one of the plastic ones and have been actually impressed with it. The casters are pretty large so it'll roll over small rocks and such instead of wheels binding up. The side trays are nice, too, for sockets/bolts/nuts/snacks/whatever. I think I'd go plastic over the metal one.

Neither one. Go with the Icon one, it’s biggest negative is the wheels roll too easily.

I bought the hitch extender yesterday for hauling my 12' kayak in the bed of my truck. I got it for $50 or so with my 25% coupon.

I think it will work ok. But wish the vertical upright was taller. I traded my Tacoma for a Ram 1500, but the height of the hitch to tailgate seems about the same. I have it on the highest hole, and its still about 1.5" lower then my tailgate. This causes it to be looser since the pipes don't slide together as tightly.

I am confident I'll be able to secure the kayak down, but it's ranking as a just ok purchase so far.

Looking at the reviews it seems the height is an issue for a lot of people. Lots of pictures with ways they modify it to work. Unfortunate.

I have had the first one for about 10 years. The casters are just now starting to crack and or fall off. I can attest that the adjustable headrest is a game changer. Have a newer flat one that never gets used.

From my test fit I think it should work, I'd just preference it to be the same as it is, but maybe 5" taller. I didn't think there is a single vehicle that can use the lower settings it has.

I may look into that option of adding the 2x2 of square metal, but don't have time to mess with it currently.

You got the email too? upload_2022-9-7_6-40-57.jpg

$16.99 is a lot for 10 sockets in my HFT mind. $7.99 I would probably pick it up.
