I already work in retail(asst manager in a ski shop) and already am spending my paycheck as I watch new stuff come in, don't need to add to that.

On a side note, what do you think is HF employee discount? I get 40% at work, and many of our reps are shocked at that, other shops give way less.
I know an person who works part time at Walmart and get a wopping 10%....

10%... most places can give a 10% discount from the register without asking anyone.

I don't get a discount on what we make, but they're so expensive I couldn't afford it even with a 40%... but 40% sure sounds nice depending on where you work.

At Midway USA, I got cost + 10%. So depending on what it was, pretty significant discount. Built my AR and bought a lot of ammo in those days. Plus I always knew when stock was coming, and when sales were coming.

Do you really think HF builds the buildings they occupy? Cheap rent keeps overhead down. Bottom dollar focus.

I know they don't. I've watched the building for the local one I frequent as it's changed over the last 32 years. They are at least the 4th different business there.

I'm pretty sure BF is the only day of the year they have a sale; they did last year.

Otherwise their Welcome25 or something like that, gets you $25 off any purchase.

They just released (but not on site yet) the larger TIG325 and a MIG285 or something.

Just when I thought I didn’t need anything for Black Friday. Depending on what the sale is I might be down for a welder

    Everyone needs a welder :welder:

Plasma cutter too for when you're not welding stuff together

I mean, you gotta cut it apart and weld it back together to get good at both.

In my case it's more like cut apart what I screwed up, then put it back together....then cuss, cut it back apart, put it back together..........cuss some more, find an off the shelf option that's "good enough" and sell the welder, plasma cutter, gloves and hood on marketplace.....

    I haven't done it.........but I could see it going that way :)
