This literally made me laugh out loud!

Now if only I hadn't done so during my 15 years working as a tech....

I definitely don't like the HF screw drivers or pliers. Durability is terrible, even with light use. At least for the Pittsburgh ones. Their tap & die sets are garbage too.

Their sockets haven't let me down yet though. Some of their automotive electrical tools aren't bad for light use too. And I have one their bottle jacks for my camper and it works well.

    Yikes.

In my hot garage, plastic stuff gets brittle, cracks then disintegrates. I've replaced the plastic wheels on my generator several times. And they don't need to lift 3 tons.

Even if someone explained, you wouldn't get it.

In fact I just went out and bought one just for the hell of it, and it'll go on my wall as well.

This is rally a trail jack for me so wheels arnt going to matter that much anyways off road. It had a smooth bottom to flatten n out in dirt and rock so thats why i really bought it. The pro eagle is the same way so its not like ones better than the other in that aspect. Im sure you could add some aftermarket wheels .I will say wheel bearings seem to be good quality on therm though.

I have one of the older style ones with the flat round seat and yes, they are awesome. I did the front bumper on my tundra with my old ass in it pretty much the entire time. Nice to have a spot to put your tools, nuts and bolts, beer, etc within easy reach while you're working too.

Just left my local HF. I have the Daytona 3 ton Jack for at home. But looking into options for a Jack to stay on the truck. Just for trail repairs etc. thinking the 1.5 ton w/911 Motorsports kit. Any reviews?

Also, was checking out the icon tools. Thinking of filling the tool box at home with some of there stuff. Seems like great quality!

I've heard the warranty process on icon ratchets requires you to return the entire set even if only one is defective. Not sure if that applies to other icon tool sets as well. :notsure:

Hey buddy - I have the 1.5 ton with the 911 swap. I've made a few posts about it, maybe you can search for pics.

The jack is a POS out of the box as it comes from HF, feels like a toy. BUT BUT BUT once you get the better 911 parts on it, it actually feels great and is still light enough to keep in the truck full time.

I have 2 Daytona 3ton jacks at home, and then the 911 swapped jack. I will grab the 911 jack everytime if it's not already stuffed away in the truck, it rolls so nice and the extra height is nice.

Thankfully I never have had to use it in the woods, but that is what I built it for. If I didn't have the 1.5ton sitting around I would probably get the 2 ton model just for a little more grunt.

I almost bought the 1.5 today but wanted to do a little more research. Also probably picking up some Icon hand tools

Other than 911Motorsports does anybody know of replacement rubber type wheels to replace the steel wheels on the Pittsburg 3 ton floor jacks?

Mines been holding up great. Keep an eye on the one bolt for the latch on the handle mine must have vibrated loose so it wasn’t locking in the upright position.

ordered this earlier in the month and was finally notified it came in, just need to unpack and install on the side of my box

My Store said when I ordered my 14" Side Drawer. If you are thinking about getting any 2nd Generation Boxes or Accessories you better do it quick. They stopped making them since the 3rd Generation is coming soon.

It’s actually very easy to explain in a way very easily understandable. Some people really like to spend their money on stupid shit. A gold plated made in Taiwan ratchet to hang on the wall is a prime example of this but if you get enjoyment from it then more power to ya. Not like I haven’t waisted money on things others thought were useless before.

Yeah...there's plenty of dumb shit I've put money into in my past.

Yet to hang my ratchet, but it's sitting in its box on my work bench.
