I bought that sprayer many yrs ago to spray my moms fence.
Worked well. Only complaint I had from it is the small capacity. It stopped working after the second fence spraying, but mostly sure that was a poor cleaning job on my part.

for painting my garage I did buy the Wagner system. Over double the price, but holds over a gallon, and only have the weight of the gun in my hand. I am super careful and over clean the system.

I have been using 1 of these to strip my deck for a repaint. Works very well, but is tiring to use as you need to apply downward pressure to get full effect. On a door, I think you will be quite happy.

For a deck wouldn’t a belt sander be better? I need to sand and stain my deck.

HFT used to send out a flyer with current deals in the newspaper (Old School) I think I signed up to receive ads via email BUT they come far and few between. If I am in a hurry I go to HFT, otherwise Amazon

Few and far between? They send them out at least every day, if not more:

I don't pay for the inside track club, or whatever that is, and I don't have their app. I am just "signed up to receive the promotional emails" (cause they ask you every time in the store).

I was an Inside Track member and never got those emails. Not in spam folder or any other issues. Talked with the manager, customer service, etc. Never found out why. Let my membership expire and still don't get them (but I always get emailed receipts). I've spent a fair amount of money there, so you think they'd be more on top of it. There system makes no sense.

It's worth getting if the item you want is on sale for track members only, and the discount is greater than the membership cost itself.

Bought an air over hydraulic jack (recent release) for my 20 ton press and saved quite a bit.

In fact I never posted it here in the HF Tools section.

    New press -

New jack the next day -

Modification for said jack, some cutting, drilling, and welding -

Installed, but not done at this point -

    20230503_135701.jpg

I did away with the stupid hand lever and opted to replace it with an air hose and foot pedal at ground level. This would allow a hands-free operation and a safer means of handling a heavier piece of steel before starting a bend -

Harbor Freight press with Swag Offroad Finger brake kit -

I've saved plenty more that I wasn't expecting to save with said membership by the way.

One would think companies would spend a little more time making sure their IT systems are working and customer friendly. I just spent 45 minutes trying to figure out how to navigate an online reservation system for
airport parking at San Diego! Unfrigging unbelievable!

Maybe, IDK. I don’t have one anyways. I started with my pressure washer, and that did very little.(I used a pressure washer a few times to strip my moms deck of stain in order to redo it).

I put casters on mine and I can roll it out of the way when I don’t need it.

BTW, if you aren’t going to use the original manual bottle jack, I wouldn’t mind taking it off your hands.

It's brand new and you're welcome to it.

Yeah I've got maybe 2 extra sets of casters, even these "fancier" ones where you step on the lever and they lift up a heavy object they're attached too.

It's been sheer laziness for me though :bananadead:

You build a small frame at the bottom? I was thinking of using some square tube I have a bunch of.

I've been thinking about this too, but haven't done it yet.. BUT I am moving the press from the old house to the new one this weekend, so it's on my mind. I've seen pictures of people putting them on casters with and without a subframe. I just guess my preference would be to make the subframe and weld the casters to that, and then bolt the press to the subframe so that if there was something I wanted to change about the casters and frame, it would be easy to do.

If you're going to put casters directly on the assembly itself, opt to add a pair in the center.

Too much weight to go unsupported, paired with wheels at the corners = bad idea as I imagine that angle iron will bend over time.

Frame would be super simple. I'll take pics if I ever do it. I've got some plaque holders and bed stiffeners to finish up today :bananadead:
