I got a similar deal awhile back and got the only metallic purple one my local HF had.

with a lift height of 14.5"...are you using something between the jack and the truck?

i haven't measured my jack point to ground but last time i measured my bottom of frame to ground it was something like 18.5"

ETA: just ran out and checked my center jack point is exactly 14” from the ground.

 

Funny, this was the last one on the shelf too. I'd like to pick up another, but I'm cheap and waiting for another coupon.

 

What're everyone's thoughts on the icon boxes? Any good?

 

I've got a 4x4 block in case I need it. If I'm working in the driveway or something I just go under the pumpkin or the axle.

 

Seem very well made, feels much sturdier then the general3 boxes, when I need to upgrade from my snap on 40 inch box I am definitely thinking about buying a 73 inch icon box.

 

And for a third the price of snapon -- thanks for the tip!

 

Looks like purple will be available on tool boxes/carts starting in Spring 2024. I've always liked the lime green. Might need to get one of each.

Bought this set last week...

 

Anyone have their vehicle dollies? Just curious how well the casters roll.

 

My friend has them and used 4 of them to move his 25’ bow rider boat around the garage for winter storage. He was very happy, but he does have a perfectly smooth brand new garage floor to work with

 

Bought these socket organizers from HF today. Really happy with them! They hold my chrome Masterforce and Quinn impact sockets perfectly! Still have a few empty slots though. They just started offering these. It's been so recent that they hadn't even put them on the shelves yet!

Since they're magnetic they can be placed almost anywhere. Plus they stay put in the drawer after you shut it.

 

I got that and had to return it. Couldnt lift the truck by the pumpkin

I've got this jack and have been very happy with it, granted its only rated for 3000 lb so I wouldn't try to pick up half the truck. I bought it mainly cause its small and light, I got tired of lifting my super old 50+ pound steel jack into my truck bed.

 

I returned the 1.5 Ton jack and bought this one that's on a Member's sale. I was already looking to get a little bit bigger jack (was thinking 2.5 ton) but couldn't pass up this deal. Only paid about $15 extra after the exchange.

 

If anyone is looking at getting the Hercules band saw stand, now isn't a bad time to buy the membership for $30 then get $30 off the stand. Then, get some savings on other stuff..

If only they had one in stock at my local store. It has been going to be “restocked soon“ for 6 months.

 

It was posted a while back that the paint brushes are good. I recently bought 3 of the Avanti ones and would have to agree they’re good to go.
