New meme baby ratchet set coming soon? I have two of the original (one lives underseat on a motorcycle), I'd buy a larger set with full size sockets.

Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.
I still have a baby set like that from like 30 years ago when I found it in a clearance bin at Napa. Love how it takes up no space but is still useful (usually).

As a hobby machinist, I have been using their titanium drill bits for many years. I probably have to sharpen them more often than my expensive ones, but they work, and the sizes are correct.

Drill Doctor. It works better than I thought it would. You can find them on eBay for about 25 bucks.

Pulled the trigger on one of these today after another electrical outage.

Sure wish this would've been one of those rare instances where members could use a 25% off coupon.

My local Harbor Freight sold 3 generators and several sump-pumps during my brief visit thanks to a rainy week ending in 30 mph winds.

This thing is almost as quiet as my Honda EU2000 (bought in 2005.)

It really depends on what vehicles you plan to use it on.

I have this jack and it's been great for the lift height. I got mine well before the Badlands jack came out so at the time it had the tallest lift height. I now have a Badlands and use it more often as it's like 25lbs lighter, moves around easier, and is slightly easier to use for my truck and lifted TJ.

The Superduty has a longer warranty, arguably better quality construction, and a magnetic saddle vs the long reach at the cost of 1" lower lift height, taller minimum height, and no foot pedal.

If I had to have only one jack though I'd probably go with the long reach. If you plan on getting a Badlands in the future I'd probaly go with the Superduty (or the 1.5T ultra low Daytona if you have something that needs the low clearance.)

You should break in the unit now to make sure it works, HF only gives 90 days. Ten hours at half load maximum, vary loads frequently at first, change the oil at 5hrs and again at 10hrs. I recommend every 40hrs or yearly afterwards.
If you plan on feeding it into the house wiring (vs extension cords) make sure it’s done right, it’s not expensive. Do you know if that has a bonded or floating neutral?

I just got that jack, I’m very happy with it. Works great with both the sienna (low and jack points are far under there) and the 4Runner, with its jack points already 10-12” high. That’s also a better deal than I got at $189!!!

The only break-in procedure I did was staying below 75% max load for the first few hours. Our home power is out so it's currently running a 1/3 hp sump-pump, fridge, freezer, routers/computers, tv and several lamps. We're at 7 hours and counting. I'll change the oil once power is restored.

This one has a floating neutral. I'll check out YouTube videos with bonding to ground... thanks for that.

Yeah, I pulled the trigger, great price, $158.25 out the door.

I already have two 3 ton jacks, one is old and doesn’t have a good lift range, so I’ll get rid of that one. The other is an OTC that has been great, but it’s super slow and even though it’s supposedly extended range, it still can’t get the 34” tires of my lifted first gen off the ground without a 4x block.

I have a range of needs really, the biggest issue I had was I needed two jacks to get my wife’s old Honda off the ground, one to lift a side so I could get enough clearance to get the other centered.

The Honda is gone, now she’s got a Subaru Forester, I’ve got a stock height 3rd gen, and I’ve got a 2 post vehicle lift, so I don’t really need it for our vehicles, but if a friend comes by I’d like to have something to go quick and dirty, and it was just a hell of a deal, so I figured, why not?

    Can confirm.

Drill Doctor bit sharpener is underrated.

Mine is used often. With a bit of practice, you can sharpen them sharper than new .

I need to pick up something like that. They have a 9,000 watt (7250 continuous which is roughly 60amps) that is catching my eye. Living out here in the country no power=no water. I can handle no hot water, but need water and my fridge. Might even be able to keep a couple lights on.
