I think you mean on its back? If you stood it on it's side I believe it would be +44" tall. Just want to confirm.

Either way, I'm 99% sure you have nothing to worry about. I don't remember it being extremely bulky and I unloaded it out of my Tacoma with 3" lift alone.

Yeah whatever side it'll fit. It would have been a chore sliding it into the bed. I ended up using a buddies truck. The toolbox is very well made. I've already got it 90% filled.

Man I spent a couple grand easy over the window of that lawsuit. Receipts? Nope. Would have been a hundred bucks or something, not really worth my time. Besides I was never fooled by the "sale" pricing. It's just the way they and many other retailers market and advertise. If someone is somehow tricked by the flyers advertising huge discounts well call me I've got a bridge for sale. The stuff they sell is inexpensive to start with they source from China and elsewhere just like everyone else.

Meh. I guess I was never a fool. I always assumed their "compare to" price was comparing to SnapOn, Honda, Warn or other high prices tools.
I will say this, the $500 Predator 8750 generator that I bought (took 3 to get one that worked), kept over 2 grand worth of frozen food frozen during our multiple power outages while also allowing operation of the kitchen and laundry.
Best alteration I did to it was adding the hour meter. After pulling the panel off, it had the perfect spot to put meter.

Was it one of those battery operated standalone hour meter? I've got one on my Honda 2k, great for reminding service intervals

It's actually a "flush mount" VDO gauge from NAPA. I have it wired to the 12v power circuit.

    Did it sell yet? :)

I picked one up this last weekend and been slowly putting it together. Not bad for the price. Going to cost a bit more to get it all setup the way I want but still pleased with it. Was a bit annoying to get everything squared up though....that by far took the longest.

Funny. Just got off the phone. New owner is stopping by this afternoon...as long as they don't find a better deal between now and this afternoon.

I have to say the four ratchet straps are a good buy for $7. They're long enough to actually get the job done considering I had been using short cheapo's from Walmart for years. I could never justify spending $20 on a set of straps, so this caught my eye.

I just bought those as well, seem to be well made and HF claims the straps are nylon; some cheapo straps are polypropylene which is not especially UV resistant--time will tell, nylon does not "fuzz up" with age as does PP...
