NP , some of HF stuff is pretty good but some is garbage I think . I have 2 of their breaker bars and there actually pretty good , I also have the 3/8 ratchet and it also is good imo and I had there Allen wrenches and the first time I tried them it rounded off , I just threw the rest in the garbage

Bondus brand is actually really tough and strong

I got a set of these as a gift and they are amazing. I never thought it made a difference but I'll get another set of the same if I ever need more.

I've used them for years in my trade (machinist) and use them almost daily and they hold up excellent and are very "durable"

we own a mechanic shop in NY and i can tell you that even for a mechanic shop, HF tools are actually really good.
heres a list of the good stuff we still use everyday from HF
    - 1/2 inch Impact sockets
    - 1/4 inch sockets
    - impact extensions
    - screwdrivers
    - clip removers
    - long needle nose and long bent needle nose
    - jumper cables
    - 3 and 6 ton jack stands
    - floor jacks
    -72 inch tool box

thats all i can remember right now
the only bad thing i can remember is those rubber bungee cords, they dont last at all, they dry out and crack. other than that im a fan of HF
i also have a medium toolbox in my truck full of HF tools and i use it here and there and never had a problem with them.

the HF 1.5 ton aluminum jack is nice, bought it two years ago and is light enough to carry with one hand

the quick lift feature is nice when in cramped area too

Has anybody had any issues returning an internet ordered item to a store? I wouldn't think there would be a problem, but you never know.

Years ago when the brick and mortar stores were few, and far between, yes--last 5-7 years no problem. In fact now returning anything mostly consists of saying "I'd like to return this." and their saying "OK, is there anything wrong with it?."; they ask that just so they know which bin to put it in...

I've been using both 3/8 & 1/2" Drive for a few years now, and seem to be OK.

Thanks guys. Even if it's not the most accurate it'll be way more accurate than what I've been doing.

Yup absolute junk, I threw them away ½ way through the first job I tried to use them on-- I am surprised they haven't been sued over those things. Their dual A-frame spring compressor is stronger, but too bulky (to make up for the low quality steel) to be easy, or even possible, to use..

They are good, to make them better buy and use it as a standard against which to check/calibrate the clickers--I've had my digital adapter checked and validated by a local service, and used dead weights to verify, it is accurate to ±2.0% (mostly ±1.0%) which is better than any clicker from any maker.

Here is a review I did a few years back...

It is a strain gauge based device so unless grossly overloaded or abused it will be accurate for years and years...

I clamp a 3/4" x 1/2" drive adapter vertically in my bench vise, mount the digital adapter (1/2" drive) into that, and then the torque wrench to be tested/calibrated, with additional adapters as necessary. With careful tweaking I've got my 3/8" drive HF clicker to match the digital adapter's accuracy from 10 to 75 lb·ft, and a HF 1/4" clicker to ±4.0% across its full 20 to 200 lb·in range
