    This weekend's Hazard Fraught score: 3-day sale + coupon = $16 :kona:

Now I have 2 snatch blocks - no zerk fitting but for the price I'll take it. Like most HF stuff it required a re-grease but it'll be nice to have as a backup and for more complex winching tasks.

I just bought a very old floor jack at a garage sale...turns out it was one of the original 3 ton Harbor Freight and still going strong.

HF has this HVLP sprayer on sale this weekend for $8.78. I need to paint (stain) my small barn (10 x 16), think I will buy it and if it works not even bother to clean it, just toss it when I'm done...

Painted my whole vintage camper with that. Worked great once you get it dialed in and the paint thinned adequately. Only one drip on the whole thing.

    Cool...

I will be using a Cabot siding stain which is pretty thin to begin with--and have the entire back side facing the woods to experiment with...

The Husky claims 75 dB noise level - I don't think the HF will be nearly that quiet. And the Husky is US-assembled, which means you probably won't have to do a full tear-down, regrease and rebuild prior to operation (pretty much required with anything from HF with moving parts).

It is quite quiet (type that 10 times fast)...

My 5-year-old Husky branded unit is up against a brick wall in the garage, between a workbench and a tool chest stack; using a Sper Scientific 840029 sound meter¹ I get 82.1 dBA at one meter, directly in front of it; falling off to 78.4 dBA at one meter 45° to either side.

Free field I am certain it would meet the 75 dBA claim, but I am not going to wheel it out to see. The 10" pneumatic tires and a nice vibration damper on the "3rd leg" add to its being quiet.

I rewired mine for 230 VAC, if you use 120 VAC you will need a solid, pretty much dedicated 20 A circuit (same goes for the HF unit).

Parts are readily available too, try that with an HF compressor...

    -------------------------
¹ - Left over from a previous life, I cannot believe they are still in production--mine is at least 7 years old.

I bought this jack and it works great, I went with the 'low profile' due to also needing it for my girlfriends Corolla. So far, so good, Probably used about 15 times or so, so far...

Has anyone used the HF powder coat gun? How did it work for you?

Apologies if it was already discussed, but I didn't have time to look through all 90 pages.

I've done a mod or two
If it's anything like the HVLP gun it will work as designed and do so well exactly one time. The more pressing matter is whether you have the heating space to bake the coating on

Suggestion: Type "HVLP" in the search field, and click "Search this thread only"
It will return 5 posts related to HVLP vs. 90 pages.

Brother got the clamp and cut edge guide. Works great for what it is. Gives a nice straight cut like a table saw

It was handy, makes nice clean cuts with a skill saw possible and easier
