Bought this little thing yesterday to keep in the truck. I used it to rotate my tires amd ran it off a co2 tank the whole time. Definatley impressed on the quality and performance!

Its pretty simple. 20lb aluminium beverage tank with a maxflo adjustable regulator and a cheap recoil hose. You can also get a fixed 150psi regulator for allot cheaper and 150 psi is great for tools and filling tires. It will fill all 4 of my tires from 12 psi to 33psi in about 90 seconds and do it about 30 times before refilling.

I've painted a half dozen cars and 4 times as many panels with a purple HVLP sprayer.

Not destruction derby car either, new cars, newer cars, daily driven cars, etc. including a full respray of my 1998 GM back in 2001 or 2002. That paint job got me 4 job offers, none I could take since I wasn't 18.

Never had any issues and for the price, they're a great performer.

I've done a mod or two
I can believe that, if I blow a quarter cup of Acetone through it when I'm done it'll shoot okay for another job, but most won't and just normal cleaning won't work.

I always did full disassembly cleaning. Maybe that's the difference?

I'll be buying another economy gun but probably an Eastwood item instead of HF.

Certainly a good throw away gun, if that's what someone wants it for.

I believe co2 changes from gas to liquid just over 850psi and its stored not too much higher (less than 900psi I think). Co2 is also a reletivley slow expanding gas so in the event of catastrophic valve failure it wouldn't be to much more spectacular than discharging a 20lb co2 fire extinguisher.

Co2 is great, and has risks.

If you keep it out of direct sun, outside any closed cab, and current on testing that mitigates most risk.

I'd really like to get a 60 as well.

On the prowl for a good deal.

Though I think the 30gal Husky might be plenty.

Yes. I switched to an electric 4 1/2 inch because my compressor couldn't keep up with it. It takes a lot of air, so make sure you have a large tank and fast pump.

I agree. Snap-on makes good wrenches, but for the average person the price kills it and it isn't worth the money.
