    This.

    Always 10 mm.

All missing from my several wrench/socket kits.

I wish Amazon would sell a 10 pack of 10 mm sockets.

SO friggin' true! :rofl:I used to blame my kids but they haven't lived here for over three years....I've replaced them since they left too. I find it interesting that Sears is always out of the replacement 10mm ones too. :(

I've had decent luck with the 1/2 inch torque wrench. I bought two of them on a super coupon deal. I compared them to a $100 Mac and they all click at the same point. I don't use them much, but they work for my needs.

Did you see the price of Snap-On tools lately? I think they are trying to price themselves right out of business.

Snap on is easy to beat for the non professional. I've been using mid grade tools for general stuff for about 7 years now and have never broken a tool. The price is probably worth it for a pro though.

I've had good luck with their breaker bars, impact sockets, aluminum floor jack, jack stands, and I think my impact gun is from HF.

I put hot glue in the hole with the hook to keep them from falling out.

I had the same experience and that is par for the course when you own a Toyota, with a 10 mm used so often.

Wouldn't it be nice when you buy a socket set, they let you pick one size socket, that would be kept under a glass partition and you would break the glass to retrieve the socket in an emergency?

That is true, most of the vehicles I have worked on have been on the younger side of life.

My dad loves HF. He is not allowed near my tool boxes.

I have enjoyed Youtube videos by "Eric the car guy", on auto repair and he did this video comparing tools including HF, Craftsman, Matco, Snap-on, and Mac that I thought was interesting. I agreed with his opinion about them and for someone that makes his living using tools, it has more weight IMO.

For the most part harbor freight is my go to for obscure tools I probably wouldn't buy otherwise or truck tools so I'll care less if they are stolen out of my box.

I do have their 44" tool chest though and that thing has been awesome.

I have heard good things about their 44" tool chest, so I will have to check it out the next time at HF. It would nice to have tool storage, as now most of my tools are in many HF tool bags.
