They should still fall under normal return/warranty.

So 90 days you can return for "whatever reason" to the store. Then the machines have a 1 year warranty. So within 90 days it should just be a swap it out. After 90 days I dont have a clue how their warranty works.

On harbour freight website and in store it says 1 yr risk free trial. So if you don't feel it was worth it after 6 months bring it back.

Has anybody ever borrowed tools from Pep boys? Same shit, instead of a week is a year with the welder.

I saw that, too. They must be pretty confident in these welders.

ooof, that is a nice price given the feature set. That said, I'm not sure that I would want to gamble on it even with the warranty.

How many people regret spending more for a Miller or Lincoln in the end?

Might consider a cord, instead of an outside receptacle ,for the second one. Weatherproof stuff is really pricey. A cord will get your welder where you need it, and will come in real handy if you have to take your welder to a buddys house. It just gives you a lot more options, for not much more.

I like every thing about that statement except going to a buddies house.

I am not carting my welding equipment around. Bring the work to me and I'll do a better job and cheaper ( work for beer).

This is also why I don't like dual voltage machines. I run everything on 240v. No one asks to borrow my welders.

Still, these HF welders could be a game changer. You can even get a spool gun for welding aluminum. The whole package is cheaper than what I paid for just my spool gun alone!

True, the price/value ratio seems incredibly favorable! Only time will tell how they will hold up.

It the new HF welders had been out I may have not bought a Miller, but I don't regret it either.

For those interested in their 3-ton jack it will be on sale on the next 2 weekends. From 10-6 through 10-9 it'll be $79.99, and from 10-13 through 10-15 it'll drop to $78.64. Just a heads up

Has anyone purchased the 12V air compressor and mounted it on a Tacoma? Is it worth buying?
