that’s funny. I am on my 3rd torque wrench from them. It is actually broken, again.

A buddy snapped a bolt on his supercharger, while torquing with one of them torque wrenches, to spec. Pretty sure the accuracy was off on that wrench.

bummer, but hopefully they have been good about hooking you up with free replacements. i can only guess you are using them more often than I am (5 or 6 times a year maybe). reminds me of the concept of buying cheap tools, then seeing what breaks and buying better ones.

Was it their Icon series? Those are the "good" ones that compete with Snap On

6 ton is more than adequate for any of our trucks regardless of gen or mods...not that there's anything wrong with using the 12 ton ones for extra peace of mind. But those f'kers are enormous and heavy lol

I hear you. Just rather spend the money somewhere else. Specially since they are good about replacing them. Once I can’t get a replacement, I’ll get something nicer.

I've used their jack and jackstands with no problems. If i die one day due to them failing i will have my wife sue haha. I worked at a company that would calibrate personal tools for use at work. I bought digital calipers from Harbor Freight and the calibration shop calibrated them for at least 3 years before they were rejected. I think i got my money's worth. Some of the tools from their though i wouldn't buy lol.

Their 3 ton Daytona floor jack, the yellow one for $190~ is supposed to be the same as Snap On. Snap On sued them over it lol. It comes with a 3-year warranty vs their other ones that are only like 30 days or something. They do have some quality tools like you said!

i recently picked up the 3 ton "red" Pittsburgh jack to upgrade the 1.5 ton aluminum that served me well for nearly 10 years. the 3 ton is a beast, I think about 70 pounds. i checked online and the yellow one is 100 pounds
