I have never had a hard clutch pedal before.
The clutch was replaced 75,000 ago and works perfectly
But the last 10,000 miles it just seems like when I’m in traffic that the pedal
had gotten a lot harder to push down. Feels like a work out for the center of my foot.

Is this related to the foot pedal spring? Or master cylinder when it starts to go bad?? Or slave cylinder?

Typical what causes a heavy clutch is either binding in the linkage or a clogged hydraulic line or worn out seals in the hydraulic line.

Or upgrading to a better clutch, the “race” clutches are stiffer. But you would of noticed that right after putting in the new clutch

The 6 cylinder models have a funky coil spring as a return spring on the clutch petal. If you look up under the dash you can see it. The plastic bushings on it wear out pretty quick, and other parts on it wear. Check to make sure it isn't binding or something.
