We've experienced a couple of brief cold snaps, and each time, when I attempt to start my truck after it warms up, when its been sitting 8hrs, I have to crank for 5-10s. Usually it starts immediately after the starter turns it over once or twice.

What gives? Its an 06, hasn't had the ecu reflash for sudden acceleration. Any suggestions on what to check?

Kind of feels like its starved of fuel and finally sputters to life. Or maybe flooded?

    Help:confused:

There is a TSB released in 2007 for hard starting, the cure is reflashing. You can get it reflashed free under the 081 "recall". I would start there, and see what happens. Make sure the spark plugs are not overdue for replacement, and that the MAF sensor is clean too.
