Throttle position sensor maybe? There’s threads on here with the values that are normal for the TPS. You can hit the pins with a multimeter and compare.

I have a similar issue with crappy idle at any temp. I have the tps, but haven’t put it on yet. If you can push the throttle like an old school carb engine and it cranks, then it’s likely the TPS from what I’ve read here. I’ve done plugs, wires, coils, MAF, and cleaned throttle body. Haven’t done a compression test or fuel injectors either but since it’s hard to start sometimes and the random misfire I’m thinking TPS. I’m going to change it when I get a chance and if it doesn’t go away, then I’m moving to cam/crank sensor next. I wish I would’ve bookmarked the threads.

Shouldn’t be an issue for your engine. The 03-04 v6, Toyota doesn’t sell the TPS separately. I’d definitely only order the Toyota/Aisan part though. parts.mariettatoyota.com is who I use for Toyota parts. Can probably find a dealer close to you that does online sales too.

Could be intermittent. Mine doesn’t do it all the time. Other than that, crank or cam sensor possibly. I’m not sure.
