Im having a little hard starting problems on my 02 v6 taco. Some days it starts just fine and normally, then later the same day it will take like 3 or 4 cranks to get it started. Sometimes it will almost start but it stumbles then dies. I was aware of this problem in 2nd gens but not 1st gens? I was thinking just plugs and basic maintenance but maybe its something else? It runs just fine and have no problems at all. It does idle slightly low though so it might have something to do with it. Anyone else have this problem and found a solution? Thanks

    Replace your fuel filter.

Clean your Throttle body/ MAF, check for vacume leaks, check your pcv valve/ replace. Pull out a spark plug check it color/ tip. If bad replace all of them with NGK or denso twin tips.

Seafoam the truck(search seafoam on the fourm( then change oil. Then pull the EFI fuse for 20 min or so and replace.
