I already swapped powersteer pump with a 4runner it all fit great but now my steering is making noise and turns very sturdy idk why? Anyone have any idea? I used automatic transmission fluid

Did you use a 4 runner pump just so you didn't have to get a new Denso or OEM one?

Did you clean the reservoir? Cycle the system (lift the front end up & turn lock to lock many times)? Correct belt tension?

Yes i found it cheaper and in my head i though well its only 130k and its oem toyota pump could work, atleast better then what i have right now but seems like its worse after the offroading trip i notice that i had a leak and it seems to be my axel oil seal. I wonder if that powersteer pump had anything to do with it or i was just too rough on the trip

If you didn't bleed the system, you need to do that.

A leaky axle seal is a separate issue from the steering pump. Also unlikely that a wheeling trip would have caused it.. more like the seal is old, and with ADD trucks the front CV's are always turning (as opposed to a manual hub truck, where the CV is only engaged when the hub is locked).

RE front axle seals- they are different from side to side. They also need to be driven in to an exact amount. Usually with seals there is something to stop the seal from going further- that's not the case here, and it's possible to drive the seal too far into the axle housing.

Update.. i didnt bleed the powersteer correctly.. now its way softer just a little noisy, i think im going to flush the whole thing and fill it up with actual dex3 and not just any cheap atf just to be sure that isnt it making it feel a little lagy still or maybe it will go away after driving
