After looking over my options it looks like the truck is on the short list.

I'm hoping to get some honest advice on pricing. I know parting it out would return more well needed cash but time and effort will play into role. KKB is saying 32-33k at factory condition.

    Silverstar bulb upgrades new-$150?
    Tinted windows $200
Led strip lights for bed and hood-$150
    Reline hoop struts-$100
    Cooling plate for radiator-$120
Electrical upgrade- 5-12v plugs, 4-usb ports and 3-120v outlet (cab, backseat and bed)
    400w anytime
    Fog anytime
Emission pump relocate ( for second battery)
Extra tran cooler w fan + (factory cooler tow package)$200
    Oil catch can-$100
Derp front and rear bumpers-$10,000 all day + 150 HP

Ok I'm done there's probably some more smalls but I can't remember

I still have all factory part that came off truck before it left dealers lot. - non scoop hood

Looking for advice Thanks I'll be starting a TW AA meeting every Tuesday and Thursday night.

Honestly its hard to get back what you put into it especially since time is a problem.

I'm not trying to get back everything I have in it but I never sold a car that wasn't paid off or one that is so new. I know Tacomas hold value better than most and with the extras I'm not sure what's a fair asking price for both parties.

In general, add ons don't add value. Take the time to put as many stock parts back on as you can justify.

Many parts may not be cost effective to remove unless you still have the stock ones to replace them.

However, on that list, remove the topper and sliders for sure. These are large ticket items that add zero to resale and can be sold for a significant amount. (Assuming sliders are bolt on).

Not knowing the details of your situation, removing the two above items should easily net you over $1k in cash. You could also look at refinancing the truck through a credit union (not a bank) and pushing the loan term out to reduce month expenses. Shop around for your car insurance can also reduce expenses. If times are hard with no improvement expected in the near term and you truly cannot afford it, then obviously sell.

Yeah , as others have said, the add ons don't really add value. Go back to stock and then sell. Sell the add ins later on when you have time

No wonder you are on hard times. Doing rough adding, you have around $21,500 in mods! :D

It's not that much but I took a new position at work and no longer get OT and commissions aren't what they should be:frusty:

I guess the derp bumper raised the mod price.

Mods turn a lot of people off. Especially if you did them yourself. People just don't want to take a risk with something that may lead to problems. They even may think something is already wrong and that's why your trying to get rid of it.

90% of mods the dealer did before Picked it up but I understand your point. If I would sell it for a package price how much over KBB would be a far price?

Why take a job for less money unless you hate the one you're in. Does the new one have much more room for raises.

I couldn't work 60 hrs a week and be on call anymore with family issues. The pay was to be about the same with sales but so far that's not the case. Going back to my old position isn't an option and was hoping I could make it work.

I was kidding about the mod price. I did add in that derp cost. True mod cost is only around $11,500, which is not all that unreasonable.
