    What an awesome weekend! Made it through without any major damage and when I got home I had an email from my realtor... got an offer on the house in NY, at my asking price!! :eek::woot::yay::humble:

    Thanx everyone for coming out!!!! Sorry about the fire ban I somehow missed that I didn't see it posted anywhere :(....other then that I wanna thank everyone for coming out,having fun,helping each other and maintaining a clean campsite...Lynn at Rausch came around Sunday to chk things out and seemed to be happy with us...we had a great turn out and mix of rigs and people ...
    I managed to get high centered once and stripe my driveshaft again but got lucky no new vibrations really,some scratches and scuffs and my new additions to the rig worked 100% better then I thought they would...the 35's walk all over shit and are smooth the guard dogs walked away without a scratch an were perfect at 12-13psi...my reienforced budbuilt ifs skid and allpoo bumper are solid as can be..winched my brother about 40ft out of deep mud and even winched myself out of break check hill everything went great...only failed at one obstical and so did everyone else except the unimog it's was a nasty rock pile and big props to dalton,josh(4runner),mike(xj), and the old school land cruiser for attempting it but knowing to stop before a break happened...
    If anyone wants a moment that will take ur breath away go slide down " brake check " on the new property it's labeled blue but it's very black ...you will 90% need a winch to get out of it and the end and new underwear to start it...

    Had a great time bud. All the guys were cool and fun to hang with. Thanks for letting a Nissan play with the Toyota's.

    Anytime I can leave Rausch and not have to fix a ton of shit is a good time. Thank God for the T-case skid. Hit that bastard a lot through Tata's.

    Here is an update on my Treadwright Wardens. As I posted earlier, while wheeling at Rausch Creek I cut the sidewalls of 2 brand new retread tires. One leaked down immediately so I swapped it with the spare. I drove about an hour on the way home and the other cut tire blew.

    Before I left for the trip I contacted Treadwright to let them know one of the tires required 11ozs to balance and was told to submit a warranty claim. I figured I would do that as soon as I got back from Rausch. Once the tire failed due to the rock puncture, I didn't bother to submit the claim.

    This past Friday I got a call from Suzie at Treadwright (I think her family owns the co.) asking about the tire. I told her I couldn't expect them to warranty the tire after I punched a hole in the sidewall, well she volunteered to refund 25% of the cost of a replacement tire. Amazing, I know it's not a lot of money but the gesture was really appreciated. Great people, Great Customer Service.
