Damn it! :annoyed: It can't ever be simple for me. :frusty:

It seems I took out the hub AND the CV axle. I'll be lucky if the wheel bearing isn't toast as well.

    Madness? Noo...This...Is...CARNAGE!

BTW, all those pieces lined up came out loose. All I unbolted was the selector and the hub body. Everything else fell out on the ground.

Haha, I have a brand new autobone CV sitting in the shed...and a busted one I need to take back and exchange. Unfortunately, those autobone CVs bust if you breathe on them wrong. The one I busted today was one of my good factory CVs. To the autobone CV's credit, they are so weak, when they broke they never took a hub with them. :p

Looks like somehow another front actuator fried. Not even 6 months on it. Thinking about modding it and forcing it to be engaged all the time. Then wiring a switch to trick the computer into thinking it engages and disengages

I got some missing paint on my sliders too. Mostly from having to back down the hill I broke the hub/CV on...

You'll probably have the same issue with a 3rd Gen T4R as you did with the 1st Gen Taco. It's probably gonna be a little cramped for ya. And all of them are probably gonna have an ADD system.

    Noooooooooooooo

Fine I'll just complete the FJ case swap and add tube like originally planned. This will probably happen sooner then later. I think the motor in my add is shot. It should not have continuity across the leads should it?

Not without the vacuum line hooked up. (just kidding) :D Actually, I'm thinking it should, otherwise the motor would have an open circuit in the windings...but then I tended to avoid avionics and electrical crap every time I got a chance.
