This is on a 2016 TRD Offroad I recently acquired from a used car lot so no PO to ask. There are some metal studs that look like some sort of a latch, for what I don’t know. Also another piece mounted in the middle of the front of the bed. Do these use go to a aftermarket accessory like a bed rack, folding hard cover/ tonneau or shell or something?

Those are parts that latch/secure the oem tonneau cover.

tri-fold hard tonneau, i have it on my truck and i like it alot. It is heavy, only drawback is when folded fully, it takes up a third of the bed space. I am trying to find a good picture
