harmonic balancer removal

    trying to get this pulley off. i was able to remove the bolt easily. there are 3 holes on the pulley. i was able to bolt one of the M8x125 bolts into the pulley. the hole straight up from that , the M8x125 just goes straight thur there. not sure if the factory forgot to thread that hole or what. the 3rd hole is much bigger and is offset and would not line up with my puller. this is a 02 taco with 275k, i expect this to be a bugger to get off. i'm replacing water pump,timing belt,tensonier,pulley and thermostat. this are all oem parts. alittle overdue on this. but hey its a toyota, built to last! thanks for any tips guys!

    you may not find something '02 Tacoma specific, but you may learn how to trouble shoot your problem.
