I'll match @G.T. offer for those that prefer San Diego, you bring the beer and I'll drink it while you drive over stuff.

I know a perfect spot to show off if you care to wander all the way South. I also need to pick some stuff up from Demello in Riverside in the near future if you know a convenient spot near the IE

Glad to hear more positive reviews about the Harrop lockers!! I've settled on the Harrops and will be doing assembled 3rd/clamshell from ECGS with 4.56 gears and Harrops front and rear in the next 6 months. Obviously I'll post updates in this thread once everything is done...

Been sold on em since @G.T. gave me the rundown on em. I’d like to lock up the front with a Harrop

My next work is 20 Jan, I'll be semi local depending on what sort of dumb shit I find to get into. The spot I'm thinking of is on the Otay Mountain Truck Trail. The actual trail is a graded fire road with lots of Border Patrol traffic but there are a few small offshoots. One if those offshoots is a steep loose rocky section that when dry was 4lo double locked, I tried in 2wd but got hung up 1/4 way up, hit all the buttons and climbed right up.

Just got my 2 diffs delivered today from ECGS with Harrops front and rear. Hoping that these lockers also solve the driver side CV shaft slop/play on the front diff that they sell the bushing fix for. Haven't found much info on this specific issue. Anyone running them on a 3rd gen know if it fixed your driver side cv shaft play?

If you're able to, can you take some pictures of the third and clamshell out of the boxes. TIA!

who’s doing the install? I’ve been contemplating on putting a Harrop on my little 2wd, but I don’t see many places that will install and wire them up. Maybe 4WP does it but I refuse to take it to them due to past experiences.

I got complete 3rd member and clamshell built and sent out to me from East Coast Gear Supply. I will be installing them myself. infact the current ones have already been removed. Waiting until Sat to install and wire them up. The rear is extremely easy to remove. if you have any motor vehicle skills and basic tools, you could do the diff swap.

Nothing specific, just some overall shots of the third and clamshell. It’s nothing I haven’t seen on here before but I just like to check out the work ECGS has done. Hope the install goes smooth on the weekend. I have OTRATTW switches for my lockers and hope they are easy to wire up.

Right on! i ended up going with these switches. Got the front and rear, i also got the Flux Capacitor switch as i'm a huge BTTF fan. i will use the flux capacitor switch as a safety switch that i will enable first to then allow the front and rear diff switches to work. so far looking at the wiring relay on the harrop, it looks pretty straight forward.
