    Hello TW,

Got my 5.29 gears with front locker installed. It was a brutal 6hr drive home from S-cal.

Only thing i had to do was the wiring. After installing the wires my locker wont engage. Wiring is pretty straight forward so im sure i didnt miss anything. I have 12.4 volt at the plug before going to the diff.

Did a little research and was told that I should hear the pin engaging when on?

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Not hearing any pin engaging in the diff. Jacked up the front with switch on i rotate one tire ( couple full revolution) and it wont lock. Both tires are suppose to be spinnig same direction when locked right?

You won't hear anything when the magnet energizes, just a clunk then it locks after the tire rotates a small amount

Do a continuity check on the magnet.

@AY_ARONTRD had trouble confirming how was working because of how quite it is.

how is yours wired? Via a relay to a stand alone switch or with a Switch-Pros spod setup?

Got a multimeter? Should be a setting on the dial that checks to make sure there's a complete circuit and beeps when the circuit is complete, so basically you put the probes on the 2 prongs inside the magnet side of the plug and if it's good it'll be beeping. A resistance check is similar, instead of just being a go-no go test it'll give you the resistance of the magnet, or lack of, if there is an open.

Not certain what it should be, but the setting to the left is continuity. Change the dial to it, touch the probes together and it'll beep as long as the probes are touching. Then place each probe on each of the pins in the plug coming out of the diff. If it beeps, its got a complete circuit. Next thing would be to measure the resistance, then find out what resistance a good magnet should have, whoever you bought the locker through should be able to get you that information

Your ADD engaged? If it's disengaged the passenger side tire isn't connected to the diff/locker no matter what.
