I've got a 2011 DC short bed TRD Off Road with the stock suspension and a few more miles on the factory warranty. I'm debating whether to go get the TSB installed or do a set of Firestone Ride Rights instead. I've only felt the rough ride symptoms once and that was off road, with 3 Marines, a female French exchange student in the cab and enough guns and ammo in the bed to start a small war. :infantry:

95% of my driving is on city streets with an empty bed and just me in the cab and I really like how the truck rides. The other 5% is off road, with varying loads. This summer I'm planning on towing a small camp trailer and want to get the truck ready now. I don't want to screw up the vast majority of my driving comfort and that's why I'm thinking about the Firestone airbags.

So what does the group think, can I have my cake and eat it too? Will the airbags give me the load capacity when I need it and let me keep my comfy ride?

Bag it, rides the same as now with no weight at 10psi, and can be as stiff as you need it. I've had both tsb and bags and non tsb and bags, you can tow more with tsb and bags, but harsher empty ride isn't really worth it,not counting the pain it is to get the dealer to do them.
