Harsh Ride TSB for 5 lug Access Cab 2.7 AT

Just got a 07 Access Cab SR5, 5 lug, 4 cl, AT 31,400 miles on 10-18-08. Took it to my local dealer to have a stuck CD removed from the radio and to have the Harsh Ride TSB done. The dealer put a new radio in and told me that my truck didn't qualify for the Harsh Ride TSB, only the TRD, Sport and 4X4's get it.

Called the Toyota Quality 800 number 10-31-08 and they said that they thought that my truck does qualify for the upgrade. They said that they would call me back by this Wednesday and let me know for sure. Haven't heard from them yet.

Has anyone out there with a 5 lug 4 cl Access Cab gotten the TSB done?

Covered- 2005 – 2008 Tacoma Body Type(s): Access Cab, Double Cab
4x4, Prerunners except regular cab.

 

yea but depending on your dealer they might help you out. I have a regular cab and i got the TSB

 

Have you heard yet if your truck is covered? I'm trying to figure out the same thing. Both toyota and the dealer told me over the phone that it sounded like it was covered. However, I haven't heard anyone say that they have had it done on a 5 lugger.
