It should state that your 'ride will be BETTER with the new springs.'. It's really not rough at all with an empty bed and new springs. Definately a more solid, quality feel to it though, like it should've from the start.

i can hardly tell a diffrence if any, except for i sit up higher, and the new springs
don't squeek like my old ones were. hell, i only weigh 180 lbs., and when i would get in and out of the drivers seat they would squeek very bad. that was just crazy, my truck is only a 2008. all i had to do was show them that.

Took mine to the dealer and they dicked me around saying they had to talk to toyota even though I had the tsb with me. Just happened to buy a tool box from fellow tw member benca1 and he hooked me up and got an appointment next week to get it done at another dealer....mad props and appreciation to him.

When I took my truck in, I loaded up my truck with myself and 3 or 4 guys from the Toyota shop and it bottomed out on the first big bump we hit. This was before the 08's where covered by the TSB. Good luck man.

I have had mine back now for one day and I agree totally. I think it is much better. Cornering now it does not even hint at leaning. It actually feels like it is more attached to the ground now then pre-tsb. In many ways the ride is much better. I am going to roll for a week or so and then post more comments.

I thought it was a Safety Recall which wouldn't if the warranty was up?
