    I've been threatened many times for off roading in not so friendly areas. Honestly you just need to pretend like you are ready to take it in the butt from that officer. My truck is a rolling violation to begin with in socal.

    Keep it to designated areas. Not only does it give us(4x4ers) a bad image, but it does damage to areas that shouldn't be damaged by our use.
