    I heard those things make your computer on your truck think that your engine is running cold all the time. I dont know exactly what it does whens its cold but I would guess sends more gas and maybe changes the shift points??? idk but that would make it feel faster

    All these things do is fake the intake air temp sensor into thinking you have 40 degree air coming in & makes the ecu richen the mix & bump the timing a degree or 3 for the seemingly denser air charge. As has been stated, pure bullshit device.
