Been many times with my old H3, just got my first taco yet so i’ll be testing it out next year. Beautiful space, not overcrowded. Even when the beach is at capacity you can still be more that 100yds from the next closest car.

Last year was about $120 for the annual OSV pass and the park entry card together. Standard access is 5am-midnight, no overnight stays without an overnight pass and within the designated area. You are allowed to have fires on the beach as long as you bury and fully extinguish.

On weekends in season u should plan do be early and make it a daytrip as the amount of vehicles on the beach is limited. Once its at capacity (145 cars) they dont let anyone else on until somebody drives off. Those who come later in the day are usually stuck in queue for at least a few hours.

take an offroad jack, tow rope, shovel, etc just in case.

i also haul a 10x10 canopy and a pop-up privacy tent with a camp toilet and chemical bags so we can be out all day without having to leave for the wife or daughter to use the bathroom. There are bath houses with toilets, showers, running water on the way out at the parking areas bit not on the OSV beach area. Haul your trash out but there are dumpsters in the parking area.

Air pumps for reinflating your tires as you leave, i always air down with bleeders on the way in.

Watch out for wild hoses and horse POOP, it seems to be everywhere. Please dont feed or approach the animals. Park service will issue citations.
