Im lookin for a few 31" replacements to buy me some more time to save for new meats. I found a pair of goodyear wrangler authority tires with good tread for cheap and the only problem claimed by the seller is that the 'white mark' is showing from constant inner rubbing (not to be confused with the whitewall of a tire, but it actually looks like it). This is the first time I have seen this type of wear to where a 'whitewall' is showing. Can anyone attest to this? Are they safe (enough) to drive on? (Are these tires 'the marked ones'? Jk but seriously) Thanks...

    Do not purchase those tires.

Putting air in them, let alone running them on your truck would be very ill-advised.

 that looks like he has rubbed them down to the threads and that's what you are seeing. Can't tell for sure though.

any tire with white lettering or white walls has a layer of white under the black. if you look on the youtubes or googles you will find all sorts of stuff on how to make your own white walls.

that being said, they would probably work but I would pass on them.
