Back to the my question... So it IS possible to do this? Eventhough you would probably look like a complete tool, I bet it would be kinda cool to see how this setup performs offroad. If you can, find and post those pics... I wanna see!!!

So some people ARE interested in this...

I never said I was gonna do this or even if I was CONSIDERING doing it. I was just thinking about it and wondering if it could/has been done.

This is the guy I was looking for!!! Thanks man!!! I was thinking that this would be a very expensive route to go. And I figured the cost to do this would easily be about the same as it would cost to do a pretty sweet SAS. I'm gonna be doing my SAS in a few years but I'm going balls out with it. Linked front and rear, full width dana 60's, ARBs front and rear...ect... the WHOLE shibang. But one thing I REALLY want to do is swap the 3.4 for the 4.7. Probably can't be done but I'd like to really give it a shot if it's possible.

It's actually not far off from that. I saw some pictures of how the suspension was fabricated and it truly makes no sense. Besides the single-shear mounts, the bracket is at a weird angle relative to the axle which puts a huge amount of stress on the mount.

It was built by a reputable shop too. I'm really amazed that something so simple got past them.

I remember seeing a picture of a hawaii truck with a fagtec DB lift and total chaos LT. Of course, being in hawaii, it had to have the tall lift with the short tires and rims that were almost as tall as the tires and twice as wide as the tires.

    Maybe I can find it
