Has anybody tried RE's new SL subwoofer?

    I'm sure there are quite a few people who aren't familiar with Resonant Engineering (RE), but they make high quality stuff. Here is a link to a vid of a guy that has 3 XXX's in his single cab truck.

    Last year they started producing shallow mount subs and compared to some of the others I've seen this thing looks pretty bad ass:[​IMG][​IMG]

    Anyone heard anything about these?

    Why would you ever want that much bass? If he cranked that up enough, it would blow that window right out of the door! OR THE DOOR RIGHT OFF THE TRUCK!!!

    I'm sure that is great for the ear drums!

    none except for crappy hub caps and floor mats.
    Man... I'm getting old. I remember when I was like 16 and wanted HUGE freakin' speakers in my car. I had a pair of 12" MTX Terminators in the trunk. Boy oh boy. And now my Wife has to yell at me across the room because I can't hear as well as I used to!

    That guys truck is for competition, he doesn't listen to it like that all the time, at least I hope not.

    I only provided that link to show what RE subs are capable of :)

    those RE's are great subs. built mainly for spl. are you planning on show in competition? Digital Design are nice sub too.:D
