Has anyone bought their Taco because of price and would have liked a different color?

I had wrecked my silverado,,knew I'd be going new, but also knew I'd have an insurace check,,I wanted the reg cab base manual tacoma, anything but red (sorry), I checked out two dealers inventory online, and visited a local and 3rd dlr,,the dealership I visisted didn't have any reg cabs period,,for that matter no salesman ever approached me on the lot,,,,one of the dealers that I did the on line thing with pissed me off with an email telling me I needed to hurry and buy,,,ie plant relocating tacama's will become scarce,,,the third dealership had two,,a white one, and a silver one,,,

the silverado was white,,so I went silver,,

YES!! I did, I wanted either Mag. gray or the dark red. But settled on silver bc of price. And also those colors are hard to come by around here.
But now that I have silver, Im glad! It hides scratches and rock chips very well. :)

I got a Silver one also, because it was the best combination of price and options amongst the used models available.

I would have preferred the Indigo or black. Now I have to find an inexpensive way to make mine look a little snazzier. I'm seeing way too many other Silver Tacomas out there.

yes, i wanted a black or white double cab and all i could find in those colors were the access cab for really great deals but i really do need the extra seats in the back, anyway i found a 2005 double cab in barcelona red with alot of extras and in a immaculate perfect condition in the interior, well taken car of vehicle inside and out, with 80,00 miles on it for 16,000. I think i got a pretty good deal compared to all other prices in my area.

I wanted Speedway Blue but they don't make it anymore, so I ordered Blue Ribbon Metallic.

Just wanted to get another Tacoma and wanted a good deal on a used one. Got the least favored color here but with added accents the color has grown on me and even when it's dirty it looks clean!

I would've preferred white or gray, but my silver truck was too good a deal to pass up. Plus I like the silver anyways.

I didn't compromise on price, but I did compromise on color due to availability. I really wanted a blue/navy truck and by 2013 Indigo Ink was long gone. Nautical Blue was purple in most lights, so I went with MGM.

Not getting the Baja is one of those decisions I have thought about a few times here and there, but I didn't want a black or red truck. I strongly considered going with the red one, but I wanted the MGM. Had they made a MGM Baja, I can't say I wouldn't have gone that route. But that's another discussion altogether.

Went into lot and saw a Tacoma saw the price and I bought it, didn't care too much for the color, it is super white, when I got home my wife asks why did I buy a another white vehicle. We already have 2 other white cars, now we have 3. I do have to say I like the white especially when it is clean, looks awesome in the sun, too bad it doesn't stay that way for long. I would have preferred another color but the options were on this one so I pulled the trigger on it.

Yes. Originally at least. I got a super white. Everything else was exactly what I wanted. I wanted speedway blue or spruce mica. But the super white is really growing on me.

Try to find a TRD Access Cab in the New York City area. There might be 10 on a good month. 5 will be Black, 4 are Grey and the other 1 is White.

Mgm was my second choice, but finding a blue taco isn't that easy, so since everything else I wanted was right, i went for it. No regrets, looks great and is dicrete.

gotta say, when I first noticed how many SSM tacomas are on the road I felt like I made a bad choice.

Now I realize I just blend in and enjoy it.

    Yep.
Ha. That guy was such a troll. He started out subtly so you didn't quite realize he was doing it. But by the end he'd fully embraced the dark side and was always trying to get the maximum reaction out of everyone.

Not sure if serious. Can you even get red (any flavor) anymore? It doesn't show up on the Tacoma configurator around here - only colors are white, silver, Magnetic Grey Metallic, and black.
