What up guys, I recently popped all the gray trim off of the interior in order to paint it/color match it. Ended up disassembling the climate control panel and I think I messed up with aligning the little white "gear" dials that go behind the control knobs. My mode selector doesn't change to any other setting when turned, it just seems to blow air from the dash defroster vents and the floor vents. Does anyone have experience with this? I've torn the dash apart multiple times and I'm at my wits end with this thing! Please any help would be a blessing at this point!

dude, Im pretty sure I aligned all the arrows that last time I re assembled it, however, I cleaned all that white goop off like a dumbass. Do you think that might be messing with the connection to the tiny circuits on the board? Cuz right now, my mode selector only changes to defrost. When I rotate it towards face vents position it just goes to floor-defrost setting... Super annoying

Should I buy and re-apply more of that white goop?

Welcome to the forum. Not had mine apart but I’d guess that the white goop is lithium grease. Someone smarter should chime in sooner or later with a answer.

So I found that I had to set the mode on the third setting which is the middle one (should have two on either side of it and then line the arrows up for it to work. The grease should just be grease but if it changes that means your board is still good.
