OK, this is probably a really stupid question, but I was just curious if anyone has installed a coil-over setup like King AND a spacer to get more lift? The reason I ask is that I like the ride on my truck ('13 Taco DC 4WD LTD) but would like to put some better shocks (maybe coils) for handling. I don't really do any off-roading and when I do it is very lite, but would like the truck to corner better, etc. without sacrificing the ride quality and making too "stiff" of a ride. I thought maybe a coil-over setup set on the lower setting along with a spacer may accomplish this but have no idea if that is a feasible plan. Any suggestions?
    Thanks,
    Ken

Toytec does it.....but it's not advised. Stick with the coilovers at 3" and you wont need a spacer.

Thanks Sublime. But what about ride quality? Does setting the at the 3" lift mark make the ride really "stiff"?
    Thanks again,
    Ken

I have bilsteins set at 0 with eibach springs for the 1.6 lift, and its very comfortable. I then put toytecs 1/2" spacers (for 3/4") of lift. Im sitting around 2.5" of total lift. Still rides great and I don't have preloaded coils.

That is very good to know TD, thanks for telling me about that. I checked out the Toytec website and could not believe that they had a set of Bilstein shocks with Toytec/Eibach springs for $600! For a set! That seems SUPER cheap, like almost half of what other brands cost. I called Toytec and asked them about using a spacer with a coilover set and she said that that particular set has a spacer pre-installed, but it goes between the shock and spring, not on top of the coilover assembly (hope that makes sense). Does anyone know anything about that setup? Seems like a great price.
Thanks again for the help guys, MUCH appreciated!
    Ken
