Has anyone ever had a MAF damaged by oiled filter?

    K&N filters suck for modern MAF equiped vehicles. Period. I'd only run them on a Carburated vehicle that does not see "dusty" conditions. And where you want maximum air flow... ie muscle car weekend driver, drag car etc. If K&N is so great, why don't the Engineers at Toyota, GM, Ford, Nissan, BMW etc use a oiled foam filter from the factory.... I've only seen weed eaters and leaf blowers with these foam filters. Do what you want dude(s)/Dudet(s). Marketing is a powerful tool. Don't Overdose.
