I installed the G2 on my 2016, the rails of the cover aren't sitting flush on the bed rails.

I've seen assorted comments about similar issues with this.

Has anyone had this problem? What was the solution?

I've got a VIP and it's flush except against the front rail... I think I need to remove that weather strip but I was concerned it might leak without it.
