Any updates from Toyota? They aren't going to eat the bill for a non-oem part install. That's my guess.

Well I just got off phone with corporate and I'm waiting for a case manager to get back to me in next business day (see my previous post). Last I spoke to dealership they said they will install aftermarket parts and just charge me labor, so hopefully corporate is will to work with me and cover labor and I cover parts. We'll see in next day or so.

do the install yourself. It’s not hard to do. Me and a buddy did mine over the course of a weekend.

I've thought a lot about that and I'd really like to tbh. I installed my complete suspension including CV bushing replacement, carrier bearing drop, sway bar relocate, shims, U-bolt flip + new bump stops, etc etc. I would love to do my own clutch so I know everything about it as well. However I will be out of the state for the next week, and most upcoming weekends we're busy busy. Also with all this shit with Toyota and seeing if their warranty will cover it, I decided I want a garage to do this. Just in case something else goes wrong in future, I can say "the shop did that" rather than "I did that myself". Just one of those situations.

understadable, and I was in the same mindset as until I got in there and saw how straight forward everything is.

Well if Toyota won't work with me and I have to take it to my local shop, I trust the guy there and already told him I'll be standing in to watch, also because I can't wait to see if the clutch is really toast or not. I don't do YouTube videos, but I'll definitely be making one as a PSA for other MT Tacoma buyers. Hope it helps someone avoid what I'm going through.

The accumulator on the RC-62F (3rd gen V6 M/T) has zero moving parts in it, FYI.

It just restricts the flow, slowing things down.

See pics on page one of the ADM thread:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/mt-accumulator-delete-mod-adm-and-bs-thread.568303/

For anybody thinking of doing the delete, it's super simple and makes a world of difference.

I did it on my '16 OR and will do it on my new truck very soon.

this is exactly how i would deal with it. it's not awesome but in the end you should have the truck you want and will pay for. for these kinds of parts i upgrade when right and possible.

Exactly. My own theory is that the accumulator slows the release enough to put extra strain on the throwout bearing and also allowing slippage on the clutch itself causing unnecessary wear.

I reached out to URD and got an email reply back, looks like you were correct @Trident904 ...
"If you off road a lot then the stage 2 with the heavy flywheel is the way to go.

Ceramic does not like to be slipped."

Stage 2 + heavy flywheel it is!

Sometimes I know what I’m talking about, but don’t tell that to my wife or you’ll end up on her shit list with me.

You’re gonna love the feel once it’s installed. Crawling with it is fucking amazing.

Exactly. Lots of clutch pedal manipulation when crawling up or down an obstacle.

I bought my DCSB MT '19 in Dec (just 9 months old now). The clutch started squeaking a few weeks ago when lifting in 1st and 2nd.
They determined the Master Cylinder needs to be replaced (Under warranty so I don't have to pay). I'm finally taking it in tomorrow morning.

Just sharing my experience, let me know if anyone has questions you want me to ask. However, I asked him if this is a common issue and he said "no, plus we don't see many manuals come through here."

Thats TSB 0112-19 which is unrelated [as far as we know] to a clutch failing prematurely. But thanks for info.
