Has anyone here installed a OEM power outlet in the bed of an SR5?

    We just did a 4500 mile road trip and had a cheapy Mossimo brand fridge from Costco in the back. Worked great as long as you remember to turn on the inverter...

    yes, the draw on the 12v side will be 166 amps + whatever inverter inefficiencies are. That's because of the lower voltage, not AC vs DC, unless my understanding of electricity had been a complete lie! (Very possible)

    I guess I've been wondering the same thing. Because I absolutely love mine. I have a really cool stereo system 2500 W home stereo that's good for like a small bar or party I take it down to the river and throw big old rages during the summer all I have to do is leave my Toyota running and running extension cord and then boom there's a party. I love it I use it constantly and I was wondering about doing the same thing
