I'm just trying to find the best location to mount it, and still stay somewhat centered.

Here's the grill I have (I believe it's referred to as the "cheese grater").

There is a lip on the bottom of the Toyota emblem that may be deep enough for you. That’s where mine is. But I think I actually have the “cheese grater” just by looking at it

    Hey Destin,

Thank you for confirming that location as that’s the only good solution I’m seeing too. I think it might fit on top of the badge frame as well, but the bottom looks better to me.
Were you able to use the grid lines from that angle, or did you just turn them off?

I have a Kenwood camera, attached with 3M tape, so my results may be different than yours. It is pointed nearly straight down, with the front bumper just into the frame. This lets me know exactly where the front my my truck is. makes parking super easy.

Yes, that’s perfect for up close parking and knowing just how close you can get without bumping.

How did this install go? I installed off center and this works great. You can see my Kenwood on the driver side next to the logo. I've been pretty happy with it there.

I haven’t installed it yet. My Sony HU and camera are supposed to arrive today, but it will still be awhile before I get them installed. I’ll update this post once I do. Thanks for the alternative location idea.

This is the image. A little off center, but you have a good idea if what’s in front of you. You see the license plate.

Well, I finally got this thing installed. I decided that I really wanted it centered, so I utilized some equipment at work (namely a Bridgeport mill) and created a custom mount.

A little rough around the edges, but they won't be seen anyway. The width of my grill opening was roughly 5/8, so I milled each side down to get close. The hole in the center had to be opened up in order to accommodate the nut that secures the camera.

Here's the front side and the rear side. The rear holes had to be opened up a bit due to the front piece being on an angle. That allowed the bolts to tighten without binding.

Here's how it all goes together.

    The finished product.
