I've got an ARE Z series I got used a couple of years ago. I really want windoors on it but ARE says they aren't available for the Z. I've got the sliders which were optional. I'm thinking I may be able to make something myself.

I've been thinking making solid doors; but haven't settled on a material yet.

There are aluminum honeycomb panels that i feel would work well, but I haven't yet figured out how i would want to seal the outside (cut) edges after they are cut to size. I've also thought about a lightweight wood, and then sealing/coating it.

This could be a good place to share thoughts/ideas for doors/windoors and frames.

Yeah, I'm thinking there must be a way to hinge the current windows w/ a twist handle to lock. Sealing it would be easy. But, it would be way easier for someone to supply a list or walk through which is what I'm hoping for.
