    I will do this as well. was looking to go to trd pro grill but for one everyone has them in my area and 2nd the 2020 grill looks really good and from the photos looks even better in matte black.

    Looks good. I've also been curious about painting it black. Love the design of the 2020 Sport/OR grill but can't believe Toyota didn't go with black. Seems like obvious choice. I guess they thought the color would further differentiate it from the other trims?

    I think I'm done for now. I prepped it with degreaser, sand a bit and wipe it with alcohol. I put 5-6 thin coats. Will let it cure for 48 hours before I install it. This is the paint I use. Hope the paint will last long.
