Well... I'd call this a disappointment

    upload_2021-2-27_17-44-57.jpg

Seems well made, the plastic is relatively thick.

    upload_2021-2-27_17-45-27.jpg

Really disappointed that it needs sticky tape to stay in place.

    upload_2021-2-27_17-45-48.jpg

Doesn't seem to get in the way of leg room but a can of Altoids won't even fit in there.

    upload_2021-2-27_17-46-53.jpg

    I'll be returning this one.

Wow, I figured it to be, at least 1" wide internally.
What a waste of an idea.

Nice idea except where would I put my gun & VHF radio?

    Update and Contact with Seller/Manufacturer

After physically seeing in the hand, the size and usefulness, I reached out to the seller.
I referenced that the group here in this thread, unfortunately, would likely be returning their purchases.
It took some time for them to get back to me. When I woke this morning, they had responded.

    Here's what they said.

The product size is length * width * height: 31*12*9CM, do you think this size is small?
If it is longer, it will bring uncomfortable driving experience.

Their Second response, and their question.

Can you tell me what size you like?

They are willing to adjust and redesign.
Lets all collaborate to come up with an ideal size.

    Length (dash to seat)
    Width (column to leg)
Height (top of opening to bottom)

This is not a project I'm really interested in pursuing, but I will offer some input. I'd make the internal width one inch. For me that would still leave plenty of leg room and make it significantly more functional. Bring the whole thing back two inches closer to the seat. I felt the current design is too far forward into the foot well, and a little too much of a reach. The last thing I want is to be reaching for something have it slip out of my hand and fall under a pedal. And then ditch the sticky tape mounting method. I'd prefer it nestle into the cup holder and come back under the e-brake handle and then conform to the existing dash.

I think they're definitely on to something, it's a great concept, but needs nearly a full redesign.

I ordered one of these for passenger side only. Modified it by removing the internal rib/divider.

Much more useful for me now. Could likely now use a heat gun and make it wider than original design.

I notice the seller still says 2017-2019. Will it fit 2022?

I have one of these. Fits my phone and wallet perfectly. I have one of those coiled cords that I use for carplay and I put the phone in that spot. I'm about 6'1" and my leg doesn't really touch anything unless the top of the cord is sticking out and pointed towards the steering wheel.

I also have two of these (driver and passenger) and I love the added storage space. The sticky tape needed for install from the factory was a bit of a disappointment, so I picked up some double sided ‘gorilla glue’ tape and it sits super snug with no issues. I throw my wallet, two phones, and other random crap in them both whenever driving. I’m 6’2 and regularly rest my leg on the driver side cubby, but I don't see this as a negative as its no uncomfortable or really making a noticeable difference in leg room for me. Before these were installed I also would regularly lay my leg on the centre console divider piece. I also have a hunting knife with a belt clip that I attach to the edge of the cubby for easy access from the driver seat (+10 for tacticool points)

    Would recommend

I was looking for a good way for my navigator to store maps. I was interested in this product until I read this thread. So I start working on making one that sucked less.
I'm still working on the design but here's a prototype to give you some idea of what I'm thinking:
    upload_2023-4-15_13-45-21.jpg

I think I might get one of these too:

$20 Car Seat Pockets PU Leather Car Console Side Organizer Seat Gap Filler Catch Caddy with Non-Slip Mat 9.2x6.5x2.1" Black (2 Pack)
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0743663D3?ie=UTF8

    For my wallet and keys.
