They are the same diameter as the stock tires. Some say they are to skinny and don't look right on a 3 or 4 inch lifted Tacoma.

I don't think it's possible to get 4 inches of lift then. I'm 99% sure that 3" is the max, unless you get a drop bracket lift.

I was just trying to see options on getting better gas milage right now I'm running Toyo AT 2 275/65-18 with BDS 4 inch lift. I'm averaging 15 to 16 mostly city stop and go traffic

My bad I didn't know you already had the lift.

Anyways, downsizing to that size is gonna look a little strange in my opinion. It also won't bring back much mileage; maybe 1 or 2 mpg max. And if you're buying the new tires, you almost definitely won't offset the price of the gas to the price of the tires. I guess if you already have the tires though, and you don't mind the look, go for it.

I also have a 4" lift, but with 285/65r18's and recently moved to an area where it is illegal to have tires sticking out past the wheel well so its really screwing me over. Did you have any luck finding a more narrow tire? Im finding that a 275 is about as skinny as you can go without looking goofy so you may be at the minimum already. Could you do me a HUGEEE and tell me if your tire extends past the fender when looking down the side of the truck?

That's.nuts why should a state care about how far a.tire sticks out on a persons vehicle.Sounds like some stupid state law maker had to much time on his or her self.
