Like many here I have go through the dealership tango to try and fix my taco vibes 2019 TRD sport DCLB). I did have the rear axles replaced and that did fix one of the vibration problems. What I am left with is the 30-40km/h vibration at Accel coast and worse when braking. It's harmonic shows up in the 70 area and higher speeds as well.

The frequency of the vibration definitely correaletes well with the speed of the driveshaft, in the area of 20Hz (play a 20hZ tone and feel your speaker, adjust the volume to match). Here's the math to back up the above statement.

So this finally brings me to my question. Has anyone tried disconnecting their front driveshaft?

Mayneeee I love the math! I have a DCSB, and the manual transmission so I have a 4:33 diff ratio. I dont get the vibes at 70 but when slowing down I get some vibes sometimes from 30-15ish.

3.909/4.33 * 35 = 31km/h that's close enough for me. Nice to see that the MT lines up with it's ratio too. This likely eliminates anything CV shaft related and outward.

It could be out of balance drive shafts. Wouldn't be the first.
