Has anyone tried running Wheelers 3-leaf AAL's with one of the 3 leafs removed?

For less lift? I really only want about 1" rather than 1.5", so I'm wondering what would happen if I took the middle leaf (or one of the other 2 leafs) out of the 3 leaf AAL? Has anyone experimented with this?

Wow you're really dead set on not raising the 5100's up in the front aren't you?

Why not just get a 1" block if you only want to raise 1"? seems easier than dissecting leaf springs.

Well... I'm gonna bump the fronts up to 1.75 and see how it goes.

I considered blocks, but I've heard pretty much nothing good about them so I orderd up some AAL's. The guy at wheelers mentioned that removing a leaf is an option for a little less lift, just wondering if anybody here has done it.

Thanks. Yeah, 1-1/4" I could definitely live with.

I was mainly concerned about it ending up the other way (i.e, more than 1-1/2").
