    I saw some dude on here with a black carbon fiber scooped hood that looked sic!!! He had a SWB Taco...

    great find. now im thinking of getting one with a hood scoop. This one looks cut out though?? not sure from the pictures. out of curiosity what would one have to do to make it functional? just fiberglass and resin a channel from the scoop over the air box?

    Looks like the stock hood to me, just doesn't have the scoop insert in it.

    Dont get it... seen a guy that got it installed on his truck. It didnt fit right.

    But then again you get what you pay for.

    yea my hood was with the scoop. the second link on that website the op posted.

    with a good paintjob theres no difference.

    painted door handles, bilstein 5100's front and back, K&N air filter. Precision power component speakers and Kenwood deck.
    I was looking at doing this also but my truck is an 06 and I figured If I Had the hood painted it would make the rest of the trucks original paint look bad so I decided against this. I dont feel like having the entire truck painted for the scoop.

    yes way worth it. i picked it up so it didnt cost me much

    they paint the fenders too...

    so u cant tell its been painted AFTER btw.
